SCSI Device Emulation for Windows platforms=============================================================================================== VirtualSCSI Target Mode solutions from ASC turn a PC into any kind of SCSI Target device-type. It is available for Windows 2003 Server, XP Pro, 2000, NT and DOS. The Windows version has support for multiple Target IDs allowing several boards in one system with each SCSI channel capable of emulating multiple SCSI IDs. Multi-threading and new Hard Disk emulation features (see News) have now been added. VirtualSCSI, through a distinguished line of Target bus adapters, currently supports 3 different SCSI electrical interfaces and data rates from Asynchronous to 160 MB/s (320 MB/s aggregate on the ASC-U3W-DC - dual-channel version). Support for Ultra320 and Fibre Channel will be added soon. VirtualSCSI solutions are multi-threaded and support multiple SCSI Target IDs per channel. Much of the minutia of SCSI command handling, message processing and data transfer execution is performed by VirtualSCSI leaving the user free to concentrate on the more general requirements and data handling features of a particular SCSI Target emulation.
